The undergraduate Global Health program is the first and only program of its kind in Canada. It combines natural sciences, social sciences and the humanities to give you a more comprehensive understanding of today’s health issues. Start making a positive change before you graduate. Get placed with an NGO or academic institution and engage in local and global health initiatives for 10-12 weeks at home or abroad during your 4th year placement. You could find yourself developing health programs in a Sri Lankan village or helping to move global health policies forward with the Welcome Centre Immigrant Services.

Learn how to put your ideas into action and help make a global impact. With real world experience and access to our vast global health network, you will leave with the right skills and knowledge-base to get your career started and make a positive change in the health sector.

Open your mind to endless career opportunities, expected and otherwise. You could be a global health policy analyst, health systems planner, clinic manager, health educator, health promoter, health researcher, community health worker, community development, information specialist, systems integration specialist and more.
